The ingredients needed to prepare Kunun Zaki:

  1. Take 1 of mudu of millet.
  2. Provide 1 of small cup of soya beans.
  3. Take 1 handful of Ginger.
  4. Get cloves of Some.
  5. You need of Sugar.

Instructions to make Kunun Zaki:

  1. Soak the millet in water for at least 5 hours or more.
  2. Pour the water away and add the soya beans, ginger and cloves.
  3. Grind with grinding machine (markade) to make a paste.
  4. Separate the paste as 3/4 and 1/4 in two different buckets. Add little water to both of the buckets to lighten the consistency.
  5. Now pour very hot boiling water to the bucket of 3/4 and stir immediately. It will be thick like PAP. In less than a minute combine the other mixture together and cover overnight.
  6. First thing in the morning sieve the kunu with a fine cloth. Add sugar to taste..
  7. Pour into bottles and keep in a very chilled fridge to keep it from becoming sour. Enjoy:).
